Maintaining Site Profiles
Creating/editing site profiles are normally tasks performed by a Profile Administrator, but can
also be done by a Server Administrator. To create a new site click the [New Profile] item under
the appropriate profile group on the Profiles tab. Fill in the necessary filters, specify the log
sources (if required) and click the Submit link.
For Log File Sources specify the location of the log files that should be analyzed for this
particular site profile. See the section on Specifying Log Sources for more information on log
sources.
The Include and Exclude Filters will determine which hits in log files will be included or
excluded when the specific site profile database is updated. The * character should be used at
